275 g fine gravel (made for aquaristic) with plastic layer. Rinse in fresh water before first time using it!

Grain size: ~ 2 – 3 mm
Hint: One pack (275 g) is enough to cover the ground of 20 x 20 cm. Then filling height is about 0,5 cm. So also bigger species like Hierodula membranacea can become adults inside the Mantis-Cube. For cleaning the gravel just rinse with hot water within the box.
