Selling stages:
“Small unsexed”: ~ 0.5 – 1.0 cm span
“Middle-sized unsexed”: ~ 1.5 – 2.0 cm span

Food:
Living insects (a little smaller than body size of the spider). Offered stage “small” catch Drosophila melanogaster. Bigger spiderlings (“middle-sized”) can catch Greenbottle flies. Adults catch Bluebottle flies without problems.

Way of living:
These colourful and agile spiders belong to the family of lynx spiders (Oxyopidae). They are day active hunters and build their webs mainly in the shelter of vegetation. Various set up such as plants, branches and bark are gladly accepted.


This spider species is slightly poisonous and probably also comes through human skin. Although it is considered a non-aggressive spider, you should exercise caution when handling!
